MAGRR (pronounced “Major”) is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization committed to finding happy, forever homes for abandoned Golden Retrievers in West Tennessee and surrounding areas. Since 2001, MAGRR has placed more than 900 dogs into permanent, loving homes.
Our Goldens come from shelters, are found as strays, or are surrendered by their owners. MAGRR provides veterinary and foster care to all Goldens in our program. MAGRR’s rescue efforts are funded by donations, fundraising events, and membership dues.
