Your dog is always learning. The problem is, without your intervention, your dog will learn, but probably not what you want it to.

You can teach your dog to bark and to stop barking with simple hand signals.  Shown here is a black Labrador who is sitting pretty while his owners hand is shown giving him the signals to bark and stop barking.
